Catherine Miller is a Dallas-based decorative lighting and sculpture designer. Her passion involves creating new and innovative works of art for her clients. Catherine’s resume includes work with residential and commercial designers who are looking for inspiration and original pieces for their projects. Over the last eight years, Catherine has sought out young, undiscovered artists and worked with them on perfecting their skills and establishing name recognition for their incredible work.
Catherine represents two Dallas based artists whose work is unmatched by very few in the country.
Aaron Tate, a glass blower extraordinaire, recently moved to Dallas from Seattle. He apprenticed under two renowned glass artists, Dale Chihuly and Martin Blank. Together, Catherine and Aaron have worked in the studio to create a new line of magnificent blown glass table lamps and home accessories. They are unmatched in execution - awe inspiring colors, wonderful shapes and intricate details such as glass crystal ‘necklaces’ and ‘bracelets’ in the new Jewelry Line of pieces. Aaron’s commissioned work is spectacular as well. Please review his pieces at the above link.
Catherine also represents a metal, sculptural artist named JuanLuis Gonzalez. Juan’s style is very unique and is evident is his many art forms....his medium, steel (reclaimed and raw). His influences...Henry Moore, Eduardo Chillida, Joan Miro, Michelangelo da Caravaggio, Wassily Kandinski, and Mihael Chemiakin. You can peruse Juan Luis’ work on his link above.
All work is custom and most designs are limited editions. They can be found in numerous residential collections throughout the Southwest. Catherine and her team also work closely alongside interior designers. Pieces are available to the trade at preferred pricing.
